Yes there is such a thing i'm doing it now for one of my business subjects accounting transactions it basically happens in dec/jan you do a 13 week course in about half the time But you will have to find out if those subjects are available in summer school because not all subjects are...

No this is how it is for everyone they don't start the lecture on time and usually your tutor will let you finish about 5 mins earlier allowing time to get to the lecture usually classes are done so they start and finish at the same time, theres nothing wrong with it you will get used to it...

You should be able to get this if you attend lectures, do the tutorial work, and make an attempt at the readings I managed to get a D average for my first year business/law.
