I'm looking at the school calendar and there's at least one subject that has a hand-in task after week 6.
On the other hand, maybe they meant the major works submissions (eg English Extension 2) to BOS or something.
Do you mean the last exam other than trials? About week 9 last term.
I still have 2 more smaller tasks after the trials which weighs about 5-15% around week 5
Do you already have your notes ready? If not, definitely grab someone else's notes considering your test is in 2 days.
If you are struggling to write some answers, I would recommend try reading sample answers from your HSC past paper book. Obviously it's better to do some past papers too, so...
Well I think the textbooks say it's 23h56m.
I think the better way of asking the question was if it's better to use the exact or 24h.
Some schools can be very pedantic about stuff like these and of the marking criteria says no then there's no point arguing haha!
Quick question:
There's a question that needs to use the Earth's orbital period.
I used the orbital period of 23h56mins (converted to seconds), however the sample answer used 24h.
Would I lose a mark? Because Earth's orbital period is actually 23h56mins?
3 days left, trials start on the first day of school. Ripppp
Tfw when Physics exam finish in the afternoon, and Chemistry exam start on the next morning.
I see what you mean haha. Yeah, for sure the answers are wrong. Also for question 12 I don't think they even have the right answer... they probably mixed up MPC and MPS.
Bad experiences with QATs lol, at least for Physics.
I will send you a PM for my answers.
Re: HSC 2016 3U Marathon
Could someone please explain why I'm getting a negative answer when I use cosine in the following SHM? When I use sine, the answer is correct.
School rank is ~55. I'd say we have a strong cohort this year. Hoping to get about 95, hoping for 96.5 for Co-op.
The number in the bracket is the Band 6's in 2015.
English Advanced: rank 39/161 (55)
Maths 2U: rank 10/157 (39)
Maths 3U: rank 21/70 (31)
Chemistry: rank 43/111 (19) (nb. heavily...
Also make sure 5 seconds or so before you pass the traffic lights, look at the rear mirrors to see if anyone is behind you. This is so if the lights turn yellow, you can brake safely depending on how far the car is behind you. If someone is tailgating you then you should continue to proceed at...
Re: HSC 2016 3U Marathon
Can someone explain why they divided by 5 or 4 in the denominator? I'm having a mind blank here. (Or is this because it's combinations, because I haven't really learned much of that yet?)
