hey.
i do both of these subjects.
what do you want to do after you finish school? neither of these subjects are pre reqs for any uni courses (that i know of), but knowledge of them is an advantage if you were to do a science course (bio) or a business degree (eco).
this is my personal opinion...
Schoey93: You'll probably see a bunch of Year 11 Abbotsleigh Geography students at Penrith Lakes on Monday (i think).
electricgreen: Bio does get much better in year 12, just persevere through this year and then you will learn all the interesting stuff (genetics, health..etc)!
Re: 2010 HSC Final Exams
yepp, my 18th is on the 22nd, i really really hope that i dont get an exam on that day, it'll make my depressing birthday that little better.
New teachers for economics, english and biology. They're all really good so i'm pretty happy about that.
New look for the school diaries (bright yellow instead of black).
The school making a big deal because this year it turns 125.
Whole school photo later in the year yay!
The year 10 and...
Re: What ATAR are you aiming for and realistically, what do you think you will get?
do you mean >90??
my aim is to get into the B Business course at UTS, so around 88 will make me happy :)
Re: Sydney Easter Show
The information about the showbag hall jobs has been put up on the RAS web page!
Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Recruitment: Attention
Re: Sydney Easter Show
reminds me of my last cafe job.
always bloody hot, no air conditioning/fans and the customers getting anal over stupid things (like not cutting the sandwich rolls dead centre).
Re: Sydney Easter Show
i had a look through last year's threads and apparently you need to apply through the showbag companies themselves?
i would try to do that, except i dont actually know any showbag companies.
Sydney Easter Show
Does anyone know the links to the employment pages for the sydney easter show?
I'm mainly interested in selling showbags or food serving, something not very high profile.
Would they hire high school students (since the dates of the show are during my school holidays?)
Thanks
hi,
i know some of the people who work at Cultural Care Au Pair (run by EF), and it seems like a reputable agency. To get in, I think you need at least 200 hours of babysitting/childcare experience and 3 references from non-relatives. They match you up with a family in the USA. I've heard that...
