Are your parents Asian by any chance? I think you could: 1) Repeat your HSC 2) Go to a Uni/Course where the ATAR is much lower (ie. UWS), do one year full time study, get good grades (avg 70+) Everyone fails sometime. Never give up, its not over until you decide its over.

Yup I'll definately be aiming for 80 WAM/HD average. I decided I'll apply for mid year, I've got nothing to lose. Edit: Btw my uai/enter/atar was 89.7, if thats of any relevance. And I'm not a rural student.

Im not sure if were under consideration for the other halls either, can anyone clarify on this? Btw I still don't have an accomodation offer yet, so I'm guessing end of this week? I kind of in a rush to get this sorted so I can make preparations etc.

Lol I would love to be under consideration by Fenner! Right now I'm being considered for UniLodge! At least Fenner is a college hall with proper events etc etc.. unlike UniLodge which is run by a company.

Thanks for the responses! I was curious because on the Monash website it said that we are allowed to transfer only after 1 year of full-time study. However the UMelb website mentioned nothing on this.

Mine still says academic offer made. I'm hoping to get into any college hall, anything but UniLodge please! I think the only chance I have is if someone declines/defers their offer of accomodation =(

Hey guys, My previous UAI/ENTER/ATAR missed the cut off for UMelb commerce, so now I am going to do a double degree at ANU. I was wondering whether it would be possible to transfer into commerce at UMelb after 1 semester of full time study? Or would I need 1 year of full time study? Any advice...

I'm in Perh atm. I haven't got the UniLodge offer yet, but I got rejected by Bruce and am being considered for UniLodge (even though its not on my pref), so its most likely that I will end up at UniLodge. Hope I get some good room mates!

My status changed to academic offer made. Havent got an accom offer yet though.

Yup I've just accepted my offer, accom status hasn't changed either.I'm going to guess that we wait for the ANU admin to process our acceptance, then they will send out accom offers accordingly.

If its not your first pref then you accept it and wait for the later rounds... i think.
