Do you think that everything that happened this year will affects the minimum ATARs for next year? If yes, will they be higher or lower? I am aware that this will also be different for different courses depending how popular are they.
What does WSU give bonus points for? I thought physio is not eligible for WSU regional bonus points? Also do you think ACU would give full 12 bonus points for e.g. 4 X Band 5?
How I feel now, I think my only chance to get a Band 6 is PDHPE. Biology and Mathematics will depend on scaling. I am hoping for a Band 5 in English, but hard to predict my raw HSC mark. In Chemistry it would be awesome if it scales up to Band 5, but really not confident with that one
yep, that's the plan re physio ;)
Standard English at least 10 Band 5s per year (no Band 6)
Maths 2-5 Band 6s (but hoping my cohort is more academic)
PDHPE, Biology and Chemistry also up to 4 Band 6s
Trials:
Chemistry 66%
PDHPE 88%
Maths Adv 88%
Eng Standard 85%
Biology 84%
As I said my...
That incredibly difficult chemistry exam has destroyed my confidence in getting a decent ATAR, so I need informed opinions on what kind of ATAR/Bands can I hope for:
my school is ranked around 300 (could be high 200 to high 300)
my internal ranks:
Standard English 5/109
Advanced Maths 5/29...
So when people are guessing how much will raw Mark's be scaled up, are you talking about the mark achieved in the HSC exam or a combination of the school mark/rank and HSC mark?
I thought I did reasonably well in that part too until I started second guessing myself in regards to the image as I discussed only visual techniques for it. The question actually didn't mention the visual techniques, but it did mention the form.
BTW not even dreaming about Band 6, but hoping...
I am internally ranked 5th (out of 100+) in Standard English at a middle ranked school. I feel HSC went well, hoping to get at least 15/20 for most essays, probably higher for Module C. What band can I hope for?
