thanks so much for replying! it was really helpful but i inevitably want to know more now :P in terms of the social and developmental assignments im assuming each was due at the end of respective modules (so social around midway and developmental at the end of the semester?). were they heavy...

    PSYC2061 and PSYC2081

Just a few questions regarding the two courses before i choose to do either or both :) I'm mainly looking for info from those who took these courses in S1 2006 as to: - How each are divided up (eg. for PSYC2061 is Social first or Developmental first?) - What sort of assessments are...

    supplementary for ACCT2542

yes  i was passing the course when i sat the final exam though; not that that means anything since i really didnt do all that well in the final so, am i the only one with denied access to webCT. Eagles, does your friend still have access?

    supplementary for ACCT2542

officially, emails notifying students that they have been granted supplementary exams were meant to be sent on Monday the 27th and since that date has now passed.... on a relevant side note i just checked my WebCT vista and i have now been denied access to ACCT2542 which i take to mean i...

the sorts of combinations that are great for particular career prospects are psych with marketing maths with actuary biotech with marketing/finance in terms of usyd vs unsw, usyd is one year extra (5 yrs) so that's a consideration

WOrk Load of DOuble Degree e.g. BCom/BSci VS a Single Degree BCom

i'm a comm/sci and basically i would say the major point of difference is for commerce, a 6UOC course will usually be 3-4 contact hrs per wk, whereas for science, 6UOC will involve 6 contact hrs per wk (mostly due to 2-3 hr labs). in first yr i was going to uni 5 days a wk, and all my commerce...

    chem 1031

in that case, go ahead with the higher. you probably wouldnt spend more time on higher than if you did lower (given you'd work hard even if it were stuff you knew already) and its always better to take up the challenge! i just realised, the school of chem is a pain in that all the info you...

    chem 1031

i'm not familiar with the zumdahl text, and i particularly like Silberberg so id suggest that obviously, though i do have to say i would always recommend using something in addition (Chemistry by Chang is good) did you do physics & chem in HS? basically the first few weeks of the 1031 course...

    commerce and science 4 yrs

but...impossible in which way :shy: sorry i probably sound like a pain, but ive written out my whole program and how i can fit it in the whole 4 yrs, so its obviously not impossible to do all the units? i do understand theyre likely not to recognise the double major (in which case ill just take...

    chem 1031

i did CHEM1031 first semester, and 1041 too so if you want any info/specifics just give me a shout! in terms of 1011 vs 1031, basically over the full year combination, you'll cover the same content, except with certain topics 1031 will cover it earlier, and with more depth (eg. organic where...

    commerce and science 4 yrs

i know this is a delayed response, but im a 2nd yr Comm/Sci working out my majors, and i can fit in a double commerce major (accounting + marketing) and the usual single major for the science, and i was wondering if this is allowed/recognised?

    edassist HSC study packs

i had the chem and phys ones and i found them pretty useful, and handy. since its broken up by topic, it's user friendly cos' you dont have to tackle a whole chunky textbook, and it also gives the fleixibility of only buying the books you need in the set. each book also comes with pull out study...

    Excel Study Guide

the cambridge chem book which is considered a 'study guide' is the best IMO, its more of a concise HSC textbook to conq. chem. in terms of excel though, revise HSC chem in a mnth is the best!

Which School is doing Retreat From The Global?

lol yep i believe it is the only one that exists! you can tell there wasnt much competition since they didnt bother to make it much of a glam or eye catching book, but none the less i succumbed to it at dymocks. :-P :-P
