    2002 Hsc Q13

Thanks guys, I was worried that there was something obvious I was missing but obviously it was a bit of a dodgy question. Actually the first time I looked at it I managed to eliminate all the answers which isn't a good sign, fingers crossed something like this doesn't come up this year.

    2002 Hsc Q13

I did this question today 13 Which of the following recognises and enforces rights? A Ethics B Justice C Natural Law D Precedent I put D because I thought that common law is basically where most of Australian rights anyway are recognised and enforced, which means precedent. The answer...

    What are your focus studies?

Global and Family... family isn't too bad because the info is all in one place which makes it easy for lazy bastards like me. Global is pretty dodgy because Excel doesn't cover it in the recent edition and Heinemann is crap for it and they were the two I was intending on using!

    Dear HSC kids of 2004

    Legal Exam?

I'm in exactly the same situation, I don't think its too bad cause I'm just doing like an hour or two reading over the textbook and notes and stuff for the next week or so before I start doing something serious like past papers. I don't really want to take too much time off though because its...

anyone worked out Q7 (a) (iii)?

I got 4:28 am, but I can't really remember how I did it, but it made sense at the time.

    How easy was that exam?

It was fairly easy except for the binomial question, I know I've lost at least 2 for that but apart from that it wasn't too bad. There have been easier exams recently though, but hopefully I can manage 80-82/84 and haven't made too many stupid mistakes

To the stooges who wrote more than 8 pages per question

It seems weird that some people are complaining that 40 minutes is not enough time to write about all we need to write about and others are talking about how you would be waffling if you wrote heaps. I wrote about 11-12 pages for each of the essays and I had to cut out a lot of what I wanted to...

    Cheating in exams

I go to a selective school and I don't know about much cheating going on... I mean I've heard of a few things that have happened but its definitely a small minority because a lot of people can actually do the stuff for themselves plus cheating by taking stuff into the toilets especially for...

    anyone know....

I think there's someone sitting the 4 unit test this year as well that's 13, except I think its a guy this time... I can't remember where I saw it or heard it but I'm fairly sure there's someone else like that girl, but seriously to do that they must be freakishly intelligent because its damn...

    how's the exam?hard or easy?

I don't think it was actually more difficult, it made it hard for people to just cram and get good marks because last year's was just regurgitate a dot point while this year required a bit more thought but I didn't think it was that hard... but I know I've got 1 wrong already, stupid INCREASING...

Hsc English Timing Is A Joke!!!!!!!!!

As a left hander, I reckon we should be able to appeal based on being left handed... it takes longer and u smudge as you write if you use the El Cheapo pens I do... but I don't think I'd want any longer doing english, I wouldn't mind an hour exam, or even a five minute exam just so I can get in...

Option 4 - Chemistry of Art

That wasn't too bad for me, because our school had a research task on chem of art and that question almost word for word came up in the research task so that helped in terms of being able to remember that stuff... but other than that I wasn't too worried except how the hell do u award 4 marks...

    Module B: Citizen Kane

Citizen Kane was my worst module... I don't have a bloody clue whether I referred to two extracts or not and my dodgy attempt at a personal critical interpretation sucked, but I managed to get the tragedy, mystery and feminist interpretations in there... anyone who did more than 3 either must...

    Choice of Wordsworth

Actually if u read the blurb at the beginning of the journeys booket it says something along the lines of 'this is a prescribed text in which students must refer to a text they select' or something like that so they can't actually specify a journeys booklet text... but I think they can specify a...

    Paper 2: Wednesday, 20/10

I reckon there will only be one other text type just because that's the way it has been in the past and fingers crossed it will be a speech because speeches are easy but it'll probably be a radio interview because I don't want a radio interview and the world revolves around me!

    Choice of Wordsworth

The theorists Donshe was talking about are people like Hartley and Associationism for WW and stuff like Lacan's psychoanalysis and Saussure's Semiotics on Malouf... among others.
