Have you ever said anything back to a customer, whether polite or not? It does absolutely nothing except make them angrier, and in turn you get in trouble for shit all.

Damn you people and closing at 5.30, 9, 10 etc. We don't close till midnight and I hate it. So rule for customers: We have been open since 7.30 in the morning, for the love of god do not come in at 11.50pm and wonder why we're not being super friendly.

Even worse when you have one item in the bag and they complain. I am so over this freaking place, I'm so glad I wasn't working today. We had 16 of 18 registers open and every register was still 4-6 trolleys deep. Ha I hate weekends.
