I am able to drop it now - but i have to decide whether i want to or not. You see, maths is my lowest subject and i get crappy marks e.g. assesment (1) = 69% (2) = 38 % Whilst, say economics (1) 100% (2) 90% / chemistry (1) 93% (2) > 90% etc etc ANd it wont count towards my UAI anyways...

Is there any prerequisites for medicine and/or pharmacy? I know there is assumed knowledge ..... but if you dont know the assumed knowledge will they still accept you? BECAUSE .... i have a big decision to make - i can drop my 2 unit mathematics ...... cause i SUCK at maths ...... and it is...

~~~~ And also, with the vinegar i worked out the concentration of the vinegar with the volume coming from the titre (amount expensed from burette in tritration) --- is this the right value to use for the volume in the equation above ( moles = C x V) to figure out moles of vinegar?

How do you work out the moles if (a) concentration is 0.10 mol L^-1 and (b) you use 25 ml Moles = M/MM So how can i work it out with just that info? EDIT: c = moles / V (L) 0.10 = ? / 0.0025 ? = 0.0025 X 0.10 moles = 0.00025 ? correct? and say for vinegar of concentration 0.119 mol...

Lol - but it took me an hour just to figure out how to do those calculations :)

But what do you think - about how it (concentration of NaOH) is determined? I forget if any other rules are involved.

And also - that calculation in my initial post is worth 10 marks !! Will i get ten makrs for those calculations - like, they dont seem like enough to get 10 marks.

Yes your right. I dont bludge it - it is just that i have a fair go, and if i dont understand the material, i will try to but i am not going to waste massive amounts of time on it.

I knew this, but my main question was the second apart about kinda bludging maths still and if it will still be OK. I dont want to drop maths as knowing the basics will help me in UNI for Pharmacy or Medical Science.
