What is needed to get my desired ATAR?

Hey Guys, So I go to a public school ranked 312th in 2017, with 23 ATARs over 90, highest being 96.9. The subjects I do and current ranks are as follows: Advanced English: 6/120 (7 band 6's in 2017) Mathematics: 25/124 (12 band 6's in 2017) Business Studies: 1/105 (3 band 6's in 2017) Physics...

Yes you're definitely eligible for your ATAR as long as you have attempted every assignment so far without any N Awards.

    2019ers Chit-Chat Thread

Yea, I think it's to motivate students whom don't currently take the HSC seriously // scare them a bit.

    90+ atar

From what I've heard (graduating in 2019), good rankings and internal marks (which you have) seem to reduce the impact of poor external marks, allowing you to reach that goal as long as you put up a solid effort in the HSC exams.

Adv english, Maths, Physics, Business and Economics. I reckon physics alongside economics is the hardest considering the problem solving and critical thinking skills required.

Actually pretty keen for year 12, laters chemistryyy. Love all the subjects I'm doing (english isn't that fun of a time). Hopefully we all can stay motivated and actually fulfil our goals without procrastinating to an extreme extent lmao. P.S. Bad ranked schools (300+) > James Ruse

    Bio, Physics and Chem

Currently doing preliminary physics and chemistry. As for physics it's really interesting yet quite difficult and maths heavy, particularly due to the new syllabus. The content in Year 12 seems a bit more interesting. Personally I don't enjoy chemistry and I'm definitely dropping it (due to poor...

Is it still worth going to Matrix?!

Hey guys, So I've been quite interested in attended Matrix for a subject (either maths/physics) though I'm not sure how it will work since they are a term or so ahead. If I was to attend will I be at a disadvantage at all? Also, if there is anyone here that attends Matrix, would you recommend...

aHaHA I dropped extension English lmao. Probs gonna regret it, though it's not worth the feeling of constant death for two years. Feel like it's impossible to get an above 95 atar w/o any extension subjects rip..

    Dropping Extension English?

    I'm sold. Laters extension! :D

    Dropping Extension English?

Yea, I'm not really enjoying extension English and the workload is quite rough (for me at least). I've decided that I'll drop it as I'll have more time to work on other subjects, enjoy extra-curriculars and have an all-rounded time at school. My teacher isn't that great either and I'm able to...
