    The youngest is 12 or 13, I can't remember which. It was in the Sydney Morning Herald a few days ago. He's only doing 4u Maths though.

    5. About 6 pages for question I, 11 pages for part II, and 13 or 14 for part III.

    It was sweet :). I was able to use my pre-planned essay practically unchanged. Umm, it was about 1000 words, which was almost 2 booklets.

    Does section III take you the longest?

    I do section 3 first, and it takes me about 45 (1300 words). Section 2 is next, and that's about 40 (1000 words). Then I spend the remaining 35 mins on section 1.

    What question to do first?

    I like to start with 3 (which is my longest), then do 2, then use whatever time is left on 1. That way, I shouldn't run out of time, as section 1 is pretty felxible.

    I'm also one of those 1300+ word people. Mine is actually relatively legible. One major tip is to warm up. Before I go in, and during the 5 minutes reading time, I shake and stretch my hand. That way I'm ready to go as soon as it starts. Also, don't grip the pen too tightly, and remember...
