Owen gets a brace against Russia... I can only imagine the possibilites putting Owen in this form up against Derby this week. >:)

NYE 2005 - Fatboy Slim blows the Bondi crowd away just like it was Brighton Beach. NYE 2006 - Basement Jaxx and Bob Sinclair play the night away on the sandy dance floor NYE2007 - Bring on Groove Armada & Sneaky Sound System! It's going to be a NYE to remember (if you can) with the masters...

hot, passionate f*** with your teacher

Besides having an opinion on whether consumating teacher/student relationships is morally or legally right/wrong, does anyone else car about the fact whoever started this thread has no idea about the grammatical use of the word 'f**k'? As for the topic. Slept with a girl at a 21st on a...

    UOW B laws - Reputation ?

Law friends of mine are finishing this year with jobs at Corrs, the DPP, ACCC, Treasury, Mallesons and Blake Dawson Waldron... but those who haven't gone to Canberra or top tier firms have ended up picking up quite good local jobs around Wollongong. So a law degree from UOW might not have the...

Give it a few seasons. I don't think we'll end up like Spurs spending stupid money on unproven players. Big Sam has done well bringing in the likes of Beye, Rozenhal, Geremi, Barton and Smith, along with some quality youth in Enrique. You can't expect to bring in 'next big things' this season...

Newcastle 1-0 over Wigan. Very good to see since I'd hate to be giving Bramble anything to smile about. Newcastle look quite good this year, especially with the late minute signings of Faye and Beye. And I'm also really impressed with the fact that NUFC are keeping clean sheets, about time the...

    Bad Lecturers

Frank Neri in Economics is pretty good because he's quite down to earth and if he doesn't know something then he admits it. But he's awesome to have although my marks somehow never correspond to this...which is very confusing.

    UOW B laws - Reputation ?

Reputation is quite good in terms of graduates finding quality jobs. UOW regularly has graduates finding spots in the top tier firms, ACCC, as well as DPP etc... We're known as having quite a intensive and content based degree compared to some other uni's making the workload a bit higher then...

    Unicentre Board election

Well I didn't vote for Chris Whittiker, because frankly he pissed me off with the harassment... Josie summed it up, the whole campaign was 'just vote for me because i've handed you a form to show you how' and that won't convince me.

I think Man City will be dangerous this year. If I had to pick one team to take fourth spot besides Arse/Tott then it'd be Man City. But how good was the Toon!!! Destroyed Bolton (ok, Bolton beat Bolton) but Martins was in fine form and it's good to see Zogs playing his part.

Hurrah... I've screen captured the table which has Newcastle on top because I might not see it again. But I was impressed with Newcastle, defence looked organised with Rozenhal acting the defensive general well which is something we've lacked for the past 7-8 years. But Bolton did look quite...

That's absolutely correct. Newcastle have spent SFA in terms of dollars for players. But mind you they've got a few players in. Out: Parker - 6mil to West Ham In: Claudio Cacapa - Free Ndjitap Geremi - Free Mark Viduka - Free David Rozehnal - 2.9mil Alan Smith - 6mill Jose Enrique - 6mil Joey...

Alan Smith will be used as an attacking midfielder for Newcastle. They'll mostly play a 4-4-3, with Owens and Martins running behind Viduka/Carroll/Amoebi. If Owens/Martins is subbed, Smith will move up and the midfield will be reshuffled. And what about Newcastle, it's been transfer central...

    Merits of Melbourne Uni

Melbourne Uni are a bunch of wankers... and that's not a generalist statement, it's because of their introduction of the Melbourne Model (also known as the Growing Esteem strategic plan). The Melbourne Model, which is due to be implemented in 2008, will require students to complete a three-year...

    Commerce/law

Yeah. What you have to realise is that a double degree doesn't include more contact hours but a longer degree. Typically for a commerce/law, you'll be looking at 14-18 hours with Law taking up most of that. Commerce subjects tend to fall into the '2-3 hours of lectures + 1 hour of tutorials'...
