On the mkv/kv thing, it depends on what the question describes the term to represent. I've seen questions when they said the resistive FORCE is kv^2, therefor the mass m is incorperated in kv^2.

Any chance of a solution of that first problem? It resembles more like those questions you get in competitions rather than the HSC.

I remember calling the HSC help line and they said it depends on the question. If they obviously wanted you to use another method but instead, you did it this way in one line, then you will get marks deducted. Also when applying any theorem beyond the scope of the syllabus, you should state...

12 Units most definitely. Everyone says 12 vs 10 is give and take of time vs back up... They are wrong. You spend the same time on each sunject with 12 units as 10 units. Only in a higher comfort zone.
