No it doesn't, firstly the interviewer would in almost every case inform you when you can expect to hear back, second even if you don't ask it doesn't show a lack of interest. You spent and hour or so on the phone with the person, why would anyone even bother with that if they were not...

If there is no group activity than you most likely have either 2 interviews or 2 on 1 interview so they can be more thorough. But just wait for the information day (if they have one) and you will find out all the details.

EY brochure says that both field are for people with good analytical reasoning, since we don't actually know too much about the specifics of each field we can't really go into too much "subjective" questioning in regards to each area I would assume. (Not too sure though)

Never say that, although some aspects of your job might require you to tell a white lie, you should never give your employer the impression that you are dishonest it is a trait that is looked down upon (thought that was pretty obvious).

Any Melbourne people browsing this thread, who don't already know, please be aware that PwC has said positions for first year applicants are now filled. So if you are a first year holding your breath I am sorry but our ship sailed :/! Lol

It's a very common name, I took a guess. Umm it doesn't matter I guess since they consider all applications but there is the risk of AC getting filled up early on. Plus the later you put an app in the more people you get compared against?

That's a shame Mohsin, but you really should have got it in early :). KPMG are much more picky than the rest I believe, in terms of what happens now that you don't have one, well that's for you to decide but it's not the end of the world! :)

That is awfully quick for EY to respond Fractionlord, considering applications aren't even closed yet? Only reason of this I can think of is that they have already filled up their AC. In regards to phone interview: 1) well done in progressing :) 2) Make sure you are aware of a recent news item...

If you go on the pwc student career Australia page of Facebook and look under posts by others you will see your question answered. For PwC not all applicants get to do the online test there is an initial screening process (idk how it works but I think they take out the applicants that lack...

Just go on one of the firms websites and read up on it. :)

They ask for that in the following section. I don't even know how my uni calculates the GPA, I just attached a document with screenshots of my current uni marks. Hopefully that will suffice otherwise I will try ring the Uni tomorrow and find out.
