    Juno

I love this film. I love Juno. its great because it was supported by the cast and dialogue and not a building/car/person being blown up. youtube ellen page and check out her interview with david letterman, she seems like a person who is not a complete retard... yay! also, lol

    Australian Open

I'm guessing Federer and Henin. Lleyton is just there for Australian ratings, hes not going to get too far. I find him and Sharapova annoying to watch. I seriously have to put the TV on mute when Sharapova plays. Anyone watching the Williams game now? Shes playing an Australian and has just...

    School captaincy speeches

After 5 years together, I didn't really base my vote on the speech but on the candidate's personality. however, I do go to a fairly small school but even so with a large school you should have some gist of what the candidates are like. But anyway I think the most important things are to speak...

    My First Laptop

Good ol' Microsoft! Well my PC at the moment is quite crap. I mean its OK, but not good. Plus, I really want a laptop for its portability e.g so I can type agonizing essays in the comfort of my bed. I would use it for word processing and browsing but would it also take music (my iTunes Music...

    World War I Empathy Task

Maybe browse the net for a letters written about trench warfare to give you an idea of how they were written. The letters should be pretty reserved as they were censored so as not to reveal too much of the horrors of war. Good luck as I don't think I was much help haha!

    My First Laptop

So as the title suggests, I'm going to buy a laptop to "assist" in the whole HSC thing. I'm looking for a relatively cheap (<$1350) but well, fairly decent laptop. I've been around a few shops today picking up some specs and stuff but nothing really struck me because I live in an electronically...

    Vocabulary Expansion

When I write essays and feel I cuold substitute in a more sophisticated word I use the thesaurus on my computer. If you have an iMac, use the thesaurus in a click and then if you see a word which would work, use it. If you're not sure what it means, just switch to dictionary and see if it fits...

HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - thoughts (SPOILERS!!)

Yeah the Parseltongue thing was a bit hard to believe. Maybe because it was Ron... But if someone did learn to speak "fake" Parseltongue what were the chances that they would know to go to that girls bathroom and command the Chamber to open?

Wow! Relax! I'm sorry that you took my joke as a personal attack on your ability to make judgements! I appreciate that you explained in more detail about your opinion but still there was no need for the insult. Ah well no room for juvenile flame wars when theres Harry Potter to talk about! I...

HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - thoughts (SPOILERS!!)

Yeah the information on character's history was another interesting part that I wasn't expecting. Both of their pasts revealed a lot which was excellent. Malfoy: You're not a bitter D/Hr shipper are you? You know you loved the book haha

HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - thoughts (SPOILERS!!)

I loved it! I thought it was impossible to fit the whole finding Horcruxes, wedding, killing Voldy and all that into a book less than OoTP but it came off pretty well. I really liked this one because it was like OoTP with lots of little bits all joined together. I was shocked at how many deaths...
