fan, how far on the 4u difficulty spectrum was your school? did you get assessed on **difficult** content like those at a top selective, or was it to a moderate level (think a rank 100~ school).

2020 year 12 checking in - does anyone know what the Merchant of Venice question was specifically? I'd love to see what kind of bullshit NESA pulled for the 1st run of this new syllabus.

I did Extension English in Year 11. It was definitely my one 'bludge' unit; all my assessment tasks (incl. prelims, didn't prepare essay or creative) were in the 80-85% range, and done at the last minute. Given everything else you have to go through & complete in year 11, the subject is taxing...

I recommend trying Advanced Maths, you can always drop down if you find it too difficult.

If you're relatively sure about what subject you want to drop, pick an easier subject (to fill the units). Essentially, you have less things to deal with (- stress); and can focus more on subjects like 3u maths (+ y12 marks).
