    Do you like english

I like english a quite fair bit. Minus Shakespeare. What I really like about it is the discussions that take place in class, whether it is written or verbal.. on things like philosophy and politics, religion and gender politics. But I also love math and art. Check out my deviant art...

Did You Make It To Selective Schools?

Selective schools are awesome. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

    Alex Rider Series?

I agree, the movie sucked. I own all the Alex Rider series and Scorpia and Eagle Strike were my favourites, as they were very cleverly written. The worst out of the series was Ark Angel; it was very unsatisfying and cliched. But yes, the series is awesome. That British show 'Spooks' was...

    Further Trig maths help

Ok, I'll take your word that it's wrong. But how do you know it is wrong? Is 3 also wrong in that case?

    Further Trig maths help

    This is what I have so far for 1. LHS = (2sin3A+2cos3A)/(sinA+cosA) = 2(sin3A+cos3A)/(sinA+cosA) = 2[sin(2A+A)+cos(2A+A)]/(sinA+cosA) = 2(sin2AcosA+cos2AsinA+cos2AcosA-sin2AsinA)/(sinA+cosA) = 2[cos2A(sinA+cosA) - sin2A(sinA-cosA)]/(sinA+cosA) = 2cos2A -...

    Further Trig maths help

    4. LHS = (sin3A/sinA) - (cos3A/cosA) = (sin3AcosA - cos3AsinA)/sinAcosA = sin(3A-A)/sinAcosA = sin2A/sinAcosA = 2sin2A/2sinAcosA = 2sin2A/sin2A = 2 = RHS

    Sydney Tech

Lol, I'm wondering about your defense of the subject. Do you know people from St George? :p Well it's true. St George outperforms Tech and their state rank is not stable.. Nonetheless it's how much effort you put in that will reap the end rewards. Regardless of schools. I'm just talking in...

    How to start on EE2

Wow, I didn't even know that it existed, however I'm pretty sure my english teacher knows what he is doing. After he came to our school, our school average in english lifted phenomenally. Apparently from 89th to 13th in the state. I don't usually go to open days much to be honest. But hey, if...

    How to start on EE2

Hey uhmm Marcquelle, if you're going to hunt for decent marks, yeah I think critical response is the way to go. I'm going to do a critical reponse myself. But really, find whatever you have a passion for, and this history stuff about Pompeii, Cleopatra etc seems to tickle your fancy so go for...

    Sydney Tech

Honestly, don't go to tech if you can help it. Choose a better school... I know a few people who go there and believe it sucks education wise and they are academically capable themselves. Socially, their sister school doesn't think highly of them either. They kindly refer to them as.. STBs...

Things to do during holidays between end of Year 11 and start of Year 12

http://www.dulux.com.au/html/textureint/ So, go to 'Suede' and click on 'available colours' and 'Swiss Pear'. But the other textures are good too! So overwhelmed by the colours. Actually seeing as I have some artistic talent I might be brave enough to do a wall painting .. :p And yes...

Things to do during holidays between end of Year 11 and start of Year 12

Pastel green sounds pretty wicked. It wouldnt work for my room though, seeing as it doesn't get much sunlight until midday onward in spring and summer. I need something vibrant, warm and lively. Lol! Well I'm also considering neutrals/browns. Dulux suede 'Swiss Pear' seems like a nice option.

Things to do during holidays between end of Year 11 and start of Year 12

I'm probably going to repaint my room! Was thinking yellow to replace the blue. Nice warm fuzzy toasty feeling for my study area.

Definitely. More focused study. Chance to compensate for shifty year 11 marks too.

    Difference of Workload

I would agree that 4 unit is overrated. I think 3 unit isn't actually difficult, mastering the basics and simply applying them doesn't force you to think outside the square. I would say 4 unit does make you think outside of the square and under exam conditions, there's much more pressure and...

    Favourite tea?

Jasmine-scented green tea - Lipton is good. I have jasmine bushes outside my bedroom so that in the summer time (when I permanently leave the glass door open), the breeze carries the lovely scent inside. Great when it's too hot to drink tea.
