    7 Days to HSC

I can relate to the ppl not stressing about HSC as much as trials, I'm really excited to not study or have to remember any of this content after HSC. I feel like by doing well in trials I've proven to myself that I can do well and that most of the work is done. I will be the happiest man alive...

It’s not all about the ATAR

"Atar doesn't matter" is the biggest cope of the HSC. People saying its ok if you do bad and it will be fine because you can always transfer or apply for some trash uni or application scheme are just making excuses and most of the time its wrong anyway because you end up doing an extra...

    Optimisation?

I would think of it like this 1. Read question while simultaneously writing down all the useful info they give you 2. From that info and the question think of what they want you to find 3. Write down formulas which be used (this is important even if it's like a rectangle because these...

    I feel like I can't remember anything

At least 8-12 hours a day is way too much, you're prob tired af if you've been doing that for a while. If you rest a day it might fix itself. If you're learning or doing intensive work 8-12 hrs a day your brain is going to be fatigued. If you're fatigued you can't perform as well - the same as...

Next generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X)

Consoles are becoming too expensive especially with having to pay to use your own internet to play online which is true for last gen too obv. New games cost way too much and I think the disc drive PS5 is supposed to be around 800 or 750 on release. I feel like it's a lot cheaper to just upgrade...

    Acceptable handwriting in English essays?

You should try using a gel pen, that is ok but I think it would look a lot better if you used a better pen. I switched to gel pens a while ago and it makes you write faster and neater. My handwriting looked similar with some lines of the letters being left out (idk if you understand what im...

    Acceptable handwriting in English essays?

No way you've been writing like that all of hs, your teachers must've stopped you at some point.

    Study for yearlies or not?

You'll have the 6 week holidays to rest, I can't imagine studying takes that much time anyway. You can also wake up earlier to study before school at like 5 am get 2hrs in and go to school, do work there, come home rest a bit study a few more hours and it doesn't feel like that much work but you...

    HSC economic extended response topics

They usually don't repeat essay question topics from year to year, so whatever was asked last year prob won't be asked. You still need to know it tho cos it might be in short answer. I predict a case study question and BOP/ES/CAD essay because those have not been assessed in a while.

    can you answer this question?

I don't remember this very well but I think it's stuff like: 1. Sterile intervention is where domestic money supply is not changed 2. Non sterile intervention is where domestic money supply is affected In the first one domestic interest rates are not changed and thus a deficit has no effect...

    Best schools for trial papers??

Do you guys think that the top ranking schools' papers are harder than HSC papers will be or no? For adv math I think the 2019 HSC paper is easier and has less questions than the trials ive tried but idk if that's actually true or if it just seems harder to me.

    Economics Case Study

I would always choose my case study over other options and I feel that case study questions tend to be broader as they have to apply to so many countries. Because they are broader you can write about a lot of stuff and still be right, in my trial I had a question like "Discuss the policies used...

    Working Ahead

Working ahead is great but getting good marks is more important to your atar. You should do both just maybe during exam periods don't work ahead but rather focus on studying for the exam/assignment. If you're serious about working ahead, you can do a lot if you study hard during the summer...
