It shouldn't even matter. They only take your best 10 units for your ATAR anyway - it probably won't count for you, since you're doing so amazing in your other subjects.

I don't like the progression of: quadrilateral, pentagon, HEXagon, HEPtagon... There's something about those two H's I don't like. Therefore, Pentagons are better, clearly.

Have you tried (1+x)^n(1-x)^n expanding and then converting nCr = n!/r!(n-r)! ?

Put Sydney first. The worst that happens is that you don't get accepted, and then you get your next preference and so on.
