Hey bacilli ive noticed ur in alot of med threads. what are u doing if u dont mind me asking ? are u a school leaver ? have u sat the umat before ?

The shit thing about it is that whether or not you get an interview relies all upon your umat score. I am not sure if u have sat the umat before but it is one fucked up test ! I think unsw have one of the better selection procedures with 1/3 uai 1/3umat 1/3 interview but it disadvantages...

And provisional entry scheme is quiet misleading. Besides not having to do the interview again there is no other real advantage in it. I dont think its worth it unless ur a med hopeful in the act that fails the umat.

I dont think it is. You would be a non-standard applicant and grads can apply to undergrad medicine it would just mean u spend more time in uni.

You might have to spend some time studying for gamsat which would mean that ud need to know chemistry for one of the sections. Why dont u try doing umat this year and transfer if u can ?

Not really cos they "must" allocate a certain percentage of their offers to students from the gws region. They have a minimum cut off for number of gws students they have to accept i cant remember it of the top of my head. To OP u missed some unis but meh :P

Results come out at the end so september. UNSW main round ints are offered before umat results come out because they can access results earlier. Other interview offers come out in late nov and most interviews are in early december. Late round interviews are in early jan id ur uai ended up being...

At uws the cut off is 95 (93 for gws applicants) so there is no difference between a person who gets 95.1 and a person who gets 99.9 ALOT lower if u live in the gws region. If ur in gws then u can expect an interview with about high 160 raw if not then yeah 9x percentile
