    You don't need quotes unless the question explicitly asks for it. They care more about your writing so quote your own writing but mention how you were inspired by your mod C text minus quotes ofc.(unless question explicitly demands it)

    It just means the ending of the piece. So like the final part of the piece. A fun idea for a discursive is to start with something like pretending you already looked in depth at one part of the piece and now your looking at the other side like the cons etc.

    My general guide is if its a single text, just mark minus 1. If its a double text it depends but its usually a split so 4-5 is 2 per text while 6-7 is 3 per text.

    Na there's nothing wrong with just memorising quotes. In fact technically speaking that's kind of what I do.

    You compare only the techniques not the ideas. Aka repetition in a poem can be used in a discursive piece. Additionally rhetorical questions and extended metaphors can be used in poems and discursive.
