Pretty sure extension 1 has never aligned better than extension 2 before. This just signifies that the extension 2 exam was easier than the extension 1 exam.

Personally I go to a top 10 selective school and I only started English tutoring half way through yr 10. But honestly that’s just because I noticed my English was lacking. So I think tutoring really isn’t necessary in yr 7-10 unless your daughter is really struggling in a certain area. Also...

What is your definition of comfortable doing? If you mean band 6 then yes majority of them without tutoring would be comfortable doing.
