    Semester 2 Chatter Thread (2009)

The meeting would have rejected them en bloc had it been put to a vote (which it should have been) on the basis that they were all submitted by the same person in the same handwriting and some with misspelled or entirely incorrect surnames. Even with all those stacks accepted, David Clarke as...

    Semester 2 Chatter Thread (2009)

Not what I heard. You'd do well to remember who your real friends are, Chad, and which two people made the phone calls to save your fucking skin from a Josh/Jess led expulsion motion at the end of last year.

Bioinformatics with Dr Charleston, and so did the dude who I did preference swap with so fingers crossed I get it. You could have, idk, come up and said hi. Hahaha also on the student political front: kokodamonkey rocks up to liberal club agm last night having added 30 stacks to the membership...

    Concern regarding BA

There aren't many arts internships going around. http://www.careers.usyd.edu.au/career_advice/downloads/gds_2007_arts.pdf doesn't look all that promising either, with about 27% of grads working full time and most of those in industries as glamours as "Bartender at the Lansdowne Hotel"

Jesus christ you're a twit. Layla was a love song he wrote for George Harrison's wife and even if people don't know the song by name the riff is very, very ubiquitous. Tears in Heaven is about his dead son.

    Winter Break Chatter Thread (2009)

Anyone looking for a (new) job should keep an eye out on the university employment service during the last week of holidays and first week of semester for a law firm by the name of Haylen McKenzie Solicitors, even if you're not a law student, because they'll almost certainly be hiring one or two...

Predictions and Results (Semester 1 2009)

Congratulations, those marks are phenomenal. You'll often find that even in semesters where you put the hard yards in x10 it's still the subjects you spend the least time on and attend the least classes for where you get the best marks. Anything above 80 shouldn't be bitched about :) Told you...

And you put Jay-Z/Janes Addiction higher than any of those classic songs you're outraged didn't come higher. Most people given the choice of only one Buckley song would have picked Hallelujah and the Beatles discography is far too vast for there to be enough votes concentrated on bringing 4-5...

Re: Subject Reviews (PDF updated 17/01/09) INFO3402 - Management of IT Projects & Systems Ease: 9/10 Very basic course. Exam was exactly the same as the sample and the in semester assessments were all pretty easy to get 90% in, save the quizzes which I got 70-80% in with minimal study...
