has anyone heard from baulko or nsg (y11 entry)

everyone ik except like 2 other people did cursive so i thought i screwed it up coz i wrote a discursive (senior secondary btw)

there’s a james ann near our school now but idk if they only do selective and oc

i guess maths wasn’t too bad but the fact that it was non calculator as well as 60 questions in 30 mins put a lot of people off guard i think i guessed maybe 5 of the longer questions to save time

it was the opposite for us HAHAHA i think most people finished verbal i finished reading, writing and verbal with time to spare and without guessing but doesn’t mean i did well i guess 😩😩

verbal, reading and writing were definitely easier than anticipated tho i would say that edutest is easier than hast

i don’t think so coz i did it at nsg today and hardly anyone finished maths and mathematical reasoning without guessing (60 qs in 30 mins is insane) but idk for ruse it’s probably different since there’s also a larger candidature (nsg probably only around 40 ish)

creative was based off a picture stimulus so as long as you can write and think creatively quickly you’ll do fine

i think it will be random - either creative or discursive in year 7 i got a creative but in year 8 i got persuasive/discursive can’t remember exactly

we only need 4 subjects deputy said “what it will look like for most of u is 6 2 unit courses”

would adding another subject be a bad idea? i really want to do japanese beginners as well as i’ve heard that economics at my school is very badly taught and the marking is also weird so i feel like if i do japanese at least i’ll have the security if i choose to drop economics. 14 units tho 🫠🥴

is japanese beginners worth doing? I was top 10 in year 8 and i enjoyed it a lot but people are telling me that it’s different in senior years. i enjoy english but not enough to want to do 3 unit but i feel like it’ll be a waste of my english abilities to not do it (i’m ranked 5th right now)...
