Which tutoring companies pay the best for graduate high school students?

Tutoring seems to always be the profession which pays the best for (decent) high school graduates.... and it remains competitive even when you should be applying for graduate roles after finishing your degree in many fields. (top tip though: unless you're planning to start and scale up a decent...

    Will I ever find love?

That, and to do well at uni, get a good/stable job with a decent income, and then you'll appeal to a new demographic. ... or just launch a startup, grow it, sell it for bazillions, and then be the most eligible bachelor of the year. (on a more serious note, I met my wife when I was 26 at...

Test and compare your internet speed

Yep - unlimited. It's a new company called GigaComm which have their own 5G infrastructure and rely on bouncing singals between their towers in densely populated areas around/near the CBD, and then install their own fibre wiring within the buildings so you aren't relying on much legacy copper...

    LinkedIn help

How many connections do you have? If it's limited, I suspect LinkedIn is just guessing based on some obscure relationship with the few connections you have. But honestly I wouldn't stress since it's not like the recommended contacts/suggestions means anything.

    co-op scholarships or ubs cadetship

    1. Didn't need caps in subject. 2. Is the tech role at UBS something you're genuinely interested in, or did you just go for it because it sounded good/was a job with a reputable organisation? 3. Which coop scholarship did you get at UTS? 4. What do you actually want to do career-wise? Generally...

    Favourite item of clothing

I wonder how much of a difference there is between private and public school uniforms. I went to a small religious private school and remember my parents relief when I went to a public school after when it came to uniform pricing.

Finding a job overseas (United States)

Best bet is to get a job locally at an MNC or a US-HQ'd company, and then get an internal transfer or secondment. The process to get working rights in the US is not cheap or easy. I personally went nearly a decade ago on an L1 visa and even with a law firm helping with the forms, it was a...

    The Big Bang Theory

I think it helps if you're a bit of a geek/nerd and actually appreciate the references/jokes... but I will admit quite a few things required me to google/read up on Wikipedia.

Accounting - what account is this

It used to be a principal vs agent concept but now with AASB 15, it's a much more complex assessment.

    Users and participants

It's scary to think that we have people born in the 2000's on here... but then it has been 15+ years since I did my HSC (but not as old as Huy/tigerboi). I didn't even know they still offered IPT as a subject nowadays, but whilst for a long time I thought it was a hugely relevant/useful subject...

    The Big Bang Theory

I'm rewatching BBT and still find it funny (with a few cringe moments)... still undecided if this will be more timeless than Friends was. But it feels like it has more rewatchability than say, Brooklyn 99.

Totally forgot about this. Tested my Dad's 5G connection on his iPhone not that long ago and was impressed.

Business Analytics, what is it exactly?

I'm impressed you're pretty open with where you work... thought most people tend to keep it anonymous :)

    Management transformation?

If you're asking this stuff because you have a business studies exam/assignment/etc, you're better off sticking to the tried and tested case studies rather than trying to find your own IMO.

Accounting - what account is this

Typically would be a current liability since it's called "payable" which indicates it's owed but not yet paid (i.e. an accrual), and probably would be current as sales commission is usually closely timed to be aligned with when the sale is made. There are some more complex schemes which may have...

    LinkedIn help

I don't know if he is back at uni now but I do believe enoilgram worked in HR/recruitment for at least quite a few years. Regardless though, I wouldn't disagree with what he's said as it aligns with my own professional experience. On another note, LinkedIn recruiter view is surprisingly...
