Okay solved the problem. It didn't detect my monitor through the DVI port. So I connected the normal cable and it detected my monitor and voila. 1680x1050. I didn't do anything wrong! Cheers for your help once again.

So what should I do now?

Administration > Restricted Drivers Manager I don't see that option when i look for it. =/ Not to mention, under preferences i don't have the option for Screen and Display (or whatever it was). I checked underneath the directory where it's stored as well and couldn't find it.

Hmm, I went to Town Hall woolies for the first time. Surprised how small/compacted it is compared to my woolies. Especially the Deli... so much smaller, but they have a bigger bainmarie for the hot chickens.

You'd never get the job if you "officially" get the job during highschool and then don't start till after. Just work through the HSC. Plenty of people do it and get good marks. And seeing as you're aiming to go to uni, you wouldn't be wanting to pause working during uni and then start during...
