    I hate my course?

^ Within the BA (Pathways to Primary/Secondary teaching), you do undertake an education major in the first 3 years of your degree as well as your arts major, before undertaking an accelerated 12 month masters program. I suggest you familarise yourself with your course structure: Course To the...

    UWS Vent Your Spleen

Agreed, perhaps it'd be better if BAS was like the Maths Toolbox, only for those who really need it. Oh well, at least you guys should get easy HD's for it :)

    Trade Secret

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I'm applying for a different store, but I've been to the one in Mt Druitt and it looks like a nice place.

    doing law as well

Unfortunately, no. There's a list of law degrees here: UWS: Law Courses However, this does not stop you from taking law subjects as open electives (if your course has any), provided that you meet the prerequisites for those subjects. It may not count toward being a major on your...

    B Arts Parramatta online lectures

Haha, that does suck. I have turned up to non existant lectures before with 40 other people, and we all sat in the room in the dark before realising that the lectures only ran on certain weeks. Whoops! Good luck with texts, it can be a very dry subject at times but the best way to tackle it...

    Trade Secret

Nah, not that exciting lol. I may just apply and see how it goes. They may reject me for being an old fart, who knows :P

    Trade Secret

Ok, it may be a long shot seeing they're a smallish company, but they do operate in multiple states so here goes... Does anyone here work (or have friends who work) for Trade Secret? If so, could you please post if the pay (for a casual) is decent? I'm 21. Also, are the conditions pretty...

    B Arts Parramatta online lectures

Are you doing a straight BA? I think this is the first year BA has been offered on Parra campus. I don't have experience with the online lectures for Arts, when I did my core art subjects they were all in person. A lot of lectures are going online now, not just for Parra. I think that Texts...

What to bring - Learning Guides and other stuff.

^ Chances are they may distribute a learning guide in the first lecture if that is the case.

    WSU Chatter Thread

Re: 2010 UWS Chatter Thread Yeah, I think this semester will be the most interesting for me so far :). I have no subjects up on vUWS yet, anyone else in the same boat? I really wanted to read through the unit outlines before Monday, especially because two of my subjects have been...

    Getting Ready For Uni

A lot of lecturers distribute unit outlines in the first lecture, so save your paper :) I do prefer bringing in lecture notes, cuts down on the amount of mad scribbling that I do in lectures, but it's really up to you.

Anyone doing Visual Communication (with the intention to transfer later on)?

The higher the GPA, the better (of course) but I have had friends transfer into MQ and UOW (both for psych) with a credit GPA.

    Parking Permit?

When you sign up for a parking permit, they ask for two number plates that the permit could be displayed on. Give one for your own car, and one for your parents. I wonder what happens if you sell and buy a new car in the academic year? Not that I'm planning to, but I'm sure others have.
