    Is Tafe For The Dumb

^ Oh, have you done the TPC?
  2. ambermorn

    can you get kicked out?

Yes, I have seen people kicked out of courses at TAFE for non attendence and basically fucking around. I haven't seen people kicked out for failing though, because they either keep paying to redo the course or drop out. In some courses if your attendence rate drops below 70% you fail the course...

How safe is the Kingswood campus?

Hahaha, in all seriousness I've never felt unsafe on the Kingswood campus, there's a lot more people around than on Werrington South, plus you always see security going around in their dinky mobiles. I've never had issues with theft or damage to my car. As for the safety of your bike, I hope...

Can anyone else register for their spring session units?

^1 hour breaks go quickly. I had a 3 hour break in my first semester, it was not fun. You can ENROL in your Spring units, but you cannot register for tutorials until later this year.

    Filing tax return for 07-08

Do you just need to be a taxpayer to receive the $950 dollars, or are there other conditions? I just thought the money was going to Centrelink recipients again so I've ignored the news.

    Rules for Customers

I know, but I'm just greeting people like a check out chick does (though they tend to get ignored too don't they), a simple hi really does make a difference though :). I try and be as normal and genuine as possible, usually I'm too busy to be insanely happy and smiley lol. LOL what a dumb...

    Rules for Customers

"Do you work here?" Of course I do, that's why I'm dressed in the clothes that we're selling, have a lanyard around my neck and why I greeted you as you entered the shop, which of course you ignored. The shutters are closed, the music's off, it's past closing time and I'm rushing to get the...

    Confused ><

Oh cool :) yep level 100 = first year introductory subject. Yep you can choose an elective from the school of humanities and languages and keep doing these subjects to count toward an elective major or submajor, or do something completely different, I knew a social science student doing Human...

    Yellow Parking Permits

^Oh yeah, I'd agree with that! But aren't the red and blue spots supposed to be in closer locations?

    Confused ><

A lot of those psych electives are level 200 and 300 subjects and cannot be attempted until you have done the prerequisite subjects for them. You'll do Human Behaviour and Behavioural Science in your first year, so you'll be able to choose subjects which has these two subjects as prerequisites...

    Creating Timetable

The tutorials for a subject will only run for one semester. You may choose both your Autumn and Spring subjects now if you wish, as long as any changes to enrolment are made before the relevant census date.

    Creating Timetable

^ No, you can schedule a tutorial before a lecture, though tutes after lectures have the advantage of being able to discuss content raised in a lecture, and tutes before lectures will expect you to have done your set readings to be able to discuss something.

    Confused ><

The best way to go about planning your timetable is to work out what times you want to attend tutes and lectures and avoid any clashes, then put these in a spreadsheet document. On the day of tutorial registration, sign into PlatformWeb early to ensure the page is loaded by time your school tute...

    Yellow Parking Permits

Compared to other universities, it's a lot cheaper. It sucks that it has risen though, especially seeing you can never get parking spots until a few weeks into semester anyway.
