Who should win the next election

Pretty sure the most recent western election was a socialist party.

Who should win the next election

No they don't because it is a fiction that never actually happened. The legislative achievements of the Rudd governments first two years were more substantial than that of any government since Whitlam, utterly dwarfing those of the Howard government and this was despite battling the most...

Who should win the next election

It's not about "justice'' it's about not being scene as some puppet for the trade union movement. People who think Labor's problems are about the carbon tax and BER are ignoring that Labor hasn't won more than 40% of the primary vote since 1993 except under Rudd. When Labor won the 2007 election...

Who should win the next election

They do now. Apparently he travelled quite well in Penrith but Blacktown, Liverpool, Fairfield, Parramatta(the city not the whole electorate) Bankstown etc were all strongly Labor for the duration of Howard's tenure. But Penrith doesn't count towards the whole "western Sydney battlers" narrative...

Who should win the next election

I'm western Sydney too and I'd make the observation that westies have been vitriolic about every Prime Minister in memory except for about 15 months of Rudd at the start. It is such a feted electorate voters out here will just keep screaming until a major party throws some money at them.

Who should win the next election

A change to anyone else would have a fallout, a change to Rudd would be a perceived "righting of a wrong" and there is definitely no point them trying to argue that dumping Rudd was not a wrong, the electoral consensus is entrenched on that one. And a five point contraction would just about...

Who should win the next election

This vote for party business is a fiction, only the deluded don't think the difference between a trusted leader and a mistrusted leader is at least four or five polling points.

Who should win the next election

Rudd beats Abbott, although pretty well any other Liberal leader would beat Rudd.

Who should win the next election

(we are just trying to fuck up Powlmao's poll by throwing votes at the fringe candidate,)

Who should win the next election

That's an oddly accurate and conciliatory comment from you. I agree with it entirely.

    Elite Sport Funding

I reckon way more people are complaining about people complaining about Aussies not winning gold than there are people just complaining about Aussies not winning gold.

Which Australian Prime Minister is better: Gough Whitlam or Julia Gillard?

I'm more inclined to say the conduct of every Australian government until Holt was disgusting with regard to immigration and race. But I'd say that Whitlam went some way to dismantling the last vestiges of it. Julia Gillard and John Howard have since seen fit to reintroduce elements of it of course.
