Although people may not have necessarily studied, they may just be good at learning things over the year, and just absorbing knowledge.. so in a way they did study.. subconsciously? But seriously don't worry, a fair bit of SC is like skills and stuff, and there's some stuff you just can't...

Haha the school I was in yr7-10, the fees were 25k a year.. so it technically would've cost my family 100k over the 4 years I spent there.. was on scholarship though luckily
