I went off for a massive holiday half way through this year. Missed out on a whole term worth of school. Not sure if I'll be going on another extended trip during these upcoming holidays. :) Can't wait for Skyrim to come out. I loved the last two prequels.

This pretty much sums it up. The School Certificate lost the little credibility it had since we're the last year to sit it. It doesn't effectively measure how smart people are at all since it is a very low-standard set of exams seeing that so many people do well in it with little effort.

No, they do not. Only the assessments that you do from term 4 onwards go towards your ATAR.

Sydney Tech is 90% Asian too. I go there. Too true, mate. Too true.

At my selective high school, about 100 out of ~150 students achieve an ATAR of over 90. It doesn't matter if you are at a selective school or not - you can still do well in your HSC if you put the work into it.

Pretty much what this is saying. Basically try to fill up all the lines that you're given, or at least get close to it.

My grade did work experience near the start of this year. I did work experience with a doctor. Didn't really do much. I was only there for about two hours each day so I obviously didn't get much out of it.

Or both. EDIT: In all seriousness, I don't believe that it is possible to be at TAFE while you are in year 10. To my knowledge, you must have at least completed the School Certificate for entry into TAFE NSW courses.
