    Homosexuality in Australia

You mean they don't actually read what the Bible has to say on such issues? I have nothing against homosexuals. Homosexual sex however, "marriage" and Heaven forbid "families" are all perversions, and sins to which the punishment they deserve will be duly awarded upon their perpetrators.

And lets keep it that way. I'll actually respond to everyone later when I have time, I just couldn't resist this.

    A Question of Christian Theology

An athiest cannot find God for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman.

    Does God exist?

God created time... As an infinte being, He has existed forever. Nothing caused God to happen, such a theory would be contradictiory to His omnipotence.

    Does God exist?

My point was that athiests have more at stake should God exist, than thiests do should He not. And I think many athiests deep inside are haunted by the prospect of what is in store for them should they find out that upon death their belief in the non-existence of God was false.

    Does God exist?

Obviously not becuse He evidently existed before He created mankind.

    Does God exist?

LOL Mate I think that athiests would be as reassured in thinking that God doesn't exist to save them the possibility of eternal suffering than thiests are in knowing that eternal bliss awaits them.

    Homosexuality in Australia

Leave her alone Seck. What makes you so confident that two gay people raising a child is as good as a heterosexual union? You are the one argueing for the change, burden of proof lies on you, not on us to show that 2 men or 2 women =/= 1 man 1 women. People have brought up examples of...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Technically its "written" or typed, but I wouldnt' call disapproval the same as bashing. Any biological incapability of a couple is typically not discovered until after the marriage (especially if the couple does the right thing and abstains until after marriage, but theres the Christian in...

    Homosexuality in Australia

I don't think anyone has cited the reason why it is immoral as being because it is unnautral. Most thiests interpret morality as being something intrisinctly linked with the teachings of their scripture. This is why the overwhelming majority of Christians (conservative or not) recognise...

    Does God exist?

But since what He preaches defines what morality is, that does make Him moral. He is honest in the sense that what He determines is the behavioural standard which should be aspired to by us, is one by which He Himself "lives".

    Does God exist?

Ok, basically what He says to us, defines our moral constuct. As such disobeying Him would constitute immoral conduct, and following Him, moral conduct. It depends who you refer to, as if you are talking about the Father, then He is both incapable of being tempted, or doing evil. The...

    Homosexuality in Australia

If you don't intent to make any arguements, why are you posting in this thread, aside to waste other peoples bandwidth? If you stand for everything I am against that makes you a pretty sick and twisted person. For the kabillionth time, gays are equals to heterosexuals. Gay unions are not...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Evidence as to whether or not God exists belongs in a differnet thread altogether. I have presented loads of secular evidence which describes the various health risks associated with homosexuality and the popularity of immoral conduct among gay people (promiscuisity, domestic abuse etc)...

    Homosexuality in Australia

As opposed to you who seems totally unable as to even being able to make an arguement in the first place. Though I don't blame you, it is probably difficult sicnce you're not standing for anything.

    Homosexuality in Australia

Well I have raised CONSIDERABLY more than that in this debate. And to do with 1. its not my personal definition. Whether I take the religious avenue and say its Gods, or whether I take the naturalist position, monagomous heterosexual unions, laying the foundation for families have always...

    Does God exist?

I believe He is incapable of evil, and He is morally perfect, which I believe is probably a more appropriate term to omnibenevolence. But, yes, He is wholly pure and good, if you will, and incapable of evil.
  18. N

    Does God exist?

Ahh... May I just point out that the "evil one" is Satan, not God, and he (Satan) is referred to by that name at several points throughout the Bible. Lolwut. God is perfect, God loves us, and God is incapable of evil or sin, or even temptation. Hate is an example of a sin. I don't get...

My parents aren't even religious, they're strong libitarians like many on these forums. I do accept you mate, honeslty I don't think you or any other gay person is actually evil or anything. You may find it hard to believe but if I met you on the street, I wouldn't treat you any different from...
