    Summer clerkships 2009/2010

I haven't, I've got a feeling that it means no as I am pretty sure they were planning on having second round interviews this week. That said, I haven't heard back from them since notifying them of the email they send out confirming the interview I had already had and they told me that they would...

BSc in 2yrs instead of 3yrs

Possible? Theoretically yes. There is a reason university degrees are generally 3+ years. The work load and teaching style is nothing like school, they flog you for 13 weeks. Basically the amount of work you did in a year 12 subject is taught in a 13 week semester. I would not advise that...

Do women want it just as much?

Yes, women do want sex. We can want it a lot. That said its a lot harder to get us in the mood and it seems from my obsevations our libido is much more effected by stress etc!

What practical value does a Psych degree have with law?

Pick the other degree based on interest, there isnt much that compliments law in most degrees. Trust me when you have to study for 5 years you will want to enjoy what you're doing

    law without legal studies

agreed with above, you cover most of it off within the first 4 weeks of intro to law. You also find your legal studies knowledge is wrong anyway!

    usyd or unsw?

ahhaha do you reckon that you end up feeling stupid and incompetent when yo ustudy law . cus everyone's just so KABOOM AWESOME ? Yes, sometimes. No matter how hard you work there is usually someone who works harder. Especially in your first year even those who really enjoy/are good at that...

    Suggestions for high-protein diet?

Don't go low-carb, really the best thing to do is just eat healthy rather than going on a diet. You need carbs and imo cutting things out fo too long isn't sustainable. Healthy eating trumps a 'diet'! You need a healthy eating plan, low-gi carbs keep you fuller for longer. Carbs are not the...

    No sex relationships

If thats what you want to do thats fine, but be prepared to be a bit disapointed for a number of reasons: 1. It will most likely be painful for you (being a girl) 2. It will be awkward 3. You will have built it up 4. You will be inexperienced 5. Its your wedding day you will be tired 6. It...

    the pill

Yeah, stick it out a bit longer incase you just need time to adjust otherwise go back to what works. I know they tend to be lower dose but I know a few people who have found Yaz or Yasmin made them feel worse than other pills with a different hormone combo that might be a higher dose!

Impact of Uni Choice on Career Prospects

Look, particularly for law their are some old school employers who believe university prestige is the be all and end all thus they hire from Sydney and perhaps UNSW. But if my time at university has taught me anything prestige means jack for teaching quality, quality of students etc...

Most of them aren't too formal and most people get a bit nervous. Don't worry most people get used to it

    B Business & Commerce/B Laws or B Economics/B Laws.

For law - interest and ability is key, its a lot of work and is a long course. It sorts of things you will need to do: *Anywhere between 0-150+ pages of reading per subject per week (this can be cases, statutes, articles, textbooks, theoretical readings..) * Tutorial Discussion/...

    What would be better?

The other reason for a double degree is to get a well grounded grad... I must admit, I didn't see it at the time (being an over eager 18 year old) but my arts degree has actually complimented the law nicely and has been useful, plus I enjoyed the break!

    What would be better?

^ While agree with you that law is difficult for an undergrad fresh out of high school and that most aren't mature/ready thats the whole reason behind the double degree, its eases you in and by the time you get to a full study load of law subjects you are ready (i.e. forth year) also for someone...
