    Career Advice - Commerce/Law: What kind of career?

    From what I was told at various open days, any law degree has a variety of non legal areas possible, since a significant amount of law grads don't practice as solitcitors or barristers.

    I live in Strathfield too and the good thing is many of the expresses stop there, last time I went to Penrith it was about 1/2 an hr...but i'm not sure how close the campus is to the station

    ^ its too late for a application, those closed on Sep 30th. I got mine for a combined law degree, I didn't apply and I got a uai of 94.00, a friend who applied for the same course didn't and hers was 92.90, so I'm not sure how they determine the UAI based ones that you didnt have to apply for...

    Yeh sorry what i meant was mine was cable, and that being an ADSL one wouldn't work as it was a modem as well...eventually they understood and gave me the right one

    My friend applied for CSU Bathurst and she told me if they select you based on your essays entry is automatic, otherwise I think she said the cutoff is 82?

    :uhhuh: thats what I think, unless you don't want to practice law, then you may want to consider what degrees would be helpful in such a situation... but I think that you are better off picking something you have an interest in, rather than something that you choose for the sake of it Good...
