This is why my careers advisor pushed us to get them in early, its probably down because so many people are leaving it till the last minute? I tried to change my preferences ( just to see if it would work) and got the same message, perhaps its down. You could always try again later :)

Me too :) My parents didnt pressure me to do anything, they were in fact shocked that I wanted to do law. I have friends who's parents are pushing them into things they dont like, or expect way too much from them and feel like failures even though there is nothing wrong with their results

Basically what I you seem to be doing to me is putting everyone else down, I know for a fact that I am not perfect and wonder "Will I make a good law student?". I'll take my unintelligent mind, my flawed logic and double standards out of this thread because this is going in circles, both sides...

about??? Hey guys do u know how long it takes the 525 to get to UWS, because I could drive (but have to share the car with mum) and the train will get me to parra in 15 but then have to catch the bus

Its not that far for you then, I can get to central in 10-15 mins, and parra is 15 min train ride so it would take u 25-30 mins and their HSC year is 06 :rolleyes:

Parramatta is woop woop land??? Where do you live? It took me less than 15 mins to get there and we had to turn around coz we werent sure what side it was on, but if u think parra is woop woop then Inner West prob is too :rolleyes...

My advice to you is to form ur own opinion of the uni's, it goes for courses and subjects as well, what you may not like someone may like :)Its like people who chose their Yr 12 subjects based on what other students told them was interesting or what their friends did, the only way you will...

maybe he doesn't know what he feels or what he wants??? I think you shoudl relax and as aimstar555 said stay friends, who knows maybe he might make a move one day when he is more comfortable :) I'm not the best at this kind of thing but relax something could happen when you least expect it but...

UNE- I remember being told at the careers market their UAI is 83ish for law and you can get in on principals/teachers reccomendation. I was considering it, but its way too far for me :)

I am sorry, i thought you were the one saying that people from UWS have difficulty, I was mistaken as so many people here having a good flame :) I dont think however, attacking the UWSs students is very nice and doesnt prove anything
