Is it possible to get a high ATAR of 99.95 with standard English?

95 HSC mark in Standard English would be top 3 in the state probably. Low 90s is a state rank.

    Good laptops for Uni??

Buy a cheap one just for quality of life purposes if you plan to use it everyday. A cheap, legacy chromebook is highly recommended. If you do an IT degree you just need to install Linux over the Chromium OS and ur ready to go. My Acer C720 costed $300 and lasted me for 5 years.

Why is there a gap in atar? UTS vs UNSW

UTS is very good if you plan to work while studying. Location is nice and they are pretty flexible when it comes to night classes.

Why is there a gap in atar? UTS vs UNSW

It's about demand and the number of places available. The ATAR cut-off is not (directly) correlated to a courses quality. I've done an Info Tech degree at UTS with an 86 ATAR cut-off and a Commerce degree at USYD with a 96 ATAR cut-off. Different disciplines but USYD wasn't markedly better as...

    Post your gaming setup

Threw out the anime mousemat because it caused too much drift. I use the black one for everything now. Currently experimenting with the Razer Viper Mini instead of the G Pro shown. Probably will swap back based on the last couple weeks. Viper Mini is great but my aim is poor with it.

DO NOT DROP TO STANDARD. It doesn't demand any less time than advanced. It's not easier than advanced. It's marked harder than advanced. The scaling is one of the worst in the HSC. Pretty sure a low Band 6 in Standard English is a state rank.

    UTS BIT co-op 2021

Your chances depend on how well you do comparative to other students. They are looking for the cream of the crop and it varies between year. From the 30 people on my specific interview day, 2 including myself ended up being in the cohort.

    Mature Aged Studies

Hey all, Is there anyone around that has studied as a mature aged student either currently or in the past? I'm working 40 hours a week and would like to give a business undergraduate degree a proper try in 2021. Would appreciate some insight into what universities are more accommodating than...

    UTS BIT co-op 2021

Australian industry is more relevant. BIT is a generalist course so the business side of information technology would be more desirable. LinusTechTips is mainly just gaming and stuff. You are correct about the astute thing. Where you want to go/why and well researched about how you may want to...

    UTS BIT co-op 2021

I did my interview six years ago so not really. You need to know what you want to do and why. Then industry relevant news to what you want to do and the broader environment.

    UTS BIT co-op 2021

Another 200iq move to get an edge for interviews is looking at the Linkedin profiles of current BITs and Alumni. They got accepted for a reason and maybe you can take a few pointers on what to emphasize.

    UTS BIT co-op 2021

I was part of the program a few years back. Congratulations for making it past application stage. Interviews are a big filter where the pool gets cut way down. Do industry research before the interview so you can differentiate yourself (you would benefit to start now by reviewing tech news...
