No. Didn't stop me though In seriousness, i did my multiple choice section and used calculators during my reading time and never got caught. If you are smart about it and have complacent supervisors it is possible. But i couldn't really recommend it

While the half yearlies are a topic of discussion i'd like to direct everyone to this thread in the "General Discussion of the 2014 HSC" section. It helped me tremendously motivation wise and lets you put things into perspective on the chance that you get a bad result.

I never encountered the need to use in text citations in highschool so i'd suggest that you directly consult with your teacher/co-ordinator before you go ahead and do that. In text citations is more of a university thing, at least from my personal experiences.

You will find it harder to get a Band 6 in Standard than you would in advance OP. Make the smart decision, work on your english and don't drop

In terms of workload uni really isn't much better We just have a better balance and don't complain about it

12:00 to 1:30 or 4:00 to 6:00 are my preferred times.
