    I have been for work experience, legal studies excurison and for assessments Personally I think it depends on the case...I find family law cases boring except when I saw this lady try and read an essay she had written about what justice was (contested divorce and she was representing herself)...

    LOL I do watch too many legal shows...but its just not the same if ur a barrister and you dont wear robes...its just wrong!

    Academic Dress would do the trick but they are pricey....

    Oh you should...I would if I could... I learnt so much...especially how to think on my feet and how to be assertive...especially when the judge doesnt believe you that it was Failure to Compy with the rule in Browne and Dunn I had a ball too...but was upset to find out you cant prance...

    Nahh it was in the Westly Centre or something... We had a few mock trials in the local court...it made it much more interesting

    Damn it will be years till I get the robes...The closest I have got is academic dress. I remember one year the in the mock trial final the teams got to wear the robes :mad: I was very jealous

    Exactly...I hope I dont miss out :( Its all in the fun...I love the "theatrics" of the court room...and I really want the robes...Do you get to wear them for moots?

    Really because they gave me the booklet at our careers market and all of them said you need to live in the greater Western Area...and I have checked..I dont :(

    I dont think I can...For example UWS scholarships require you to live in a certain area...I am one suburb away from it...so I cant apply for any :(

    When ur doing uni prefs put a wide range of courses...then by the time u get ur UAI you may have a better idea what you want to do (and you can change ur preferences if you want) it may also limit ur options :) Good Luck

    Yes...my friend does that to me to...When the new westfield opened near us a few of my non-skool friends went...everytime he say a gal in my skool uniform...he would hug me etc...so I had so many ppl convinced he was my b/f or bro...grrrrr

    Just coz u do a lot of stuff at skool doesnt make you a loner with no people skills...and really if u have been in a team you learn more about team work than with ur friends

    Well I consider it extra curicular since it is not part of the curiculum.... I did landcare and lots of charity stuff with scouts....but I dont consider that extra curricular

    LOL I said i'd e- go with him LOL...abt going stag...yep...most ppl are since its an all gal skool and most guys wont know anyone...so u'd have to look after them anyway...besdies...then u can pick up without having a date get upset Omg if I got to go with Anthony I'd bring him...i'd prolly...
