I think there are around ~4-5 people ahead of me judging off my current mark. Highest was 92, Followed by 81. Not too sure about the mean but it was a fail

It is possible to get a >99 with humanities. You just need to smash it out in year 12

they simply become a liability once you get closer to HSC externals.

Got General Math back at 70/100 Not a great mark but i had math and business on the same day and one of them had to suffer

Update 19/08/2014 Marks back for General Math trial General Math - 67/100 (67%) Task Rank 6/40, Course Rank ?/40 Really disappointed with this result, i can hopefully dispute my way to at least a 70, which will move me into the top 5 but i really have to step my game up regardless...

19/20 in CSSA extended response, used Woolworths and a Hypothetical. Only facts i remembered was a company under Woolworths and the year of establishment

Not even going to directly answer, if you mess up internals there are 2 things you can do 1. Sit on BoS, worry and not study 2. Study your ass off and try No need to worry about it, if you have messed up internals it has already happened

~65-73 depending on cohort strength It is a possibility for him to get 80, but it wont be easy. And when taking into account the amount of people who are going to "smash externals" vs. the amount of people who actually do it i can't help but be a little pessimistic on his chances

I'm still doing textbook stuff with my class for math unfortunately, should finish up with it by the end of this week though, Exersize 10 plays on all my weaknesses in math so i don't really want to go ahead

1st and 88%, lost at least 3 marks because of illegible handwriting. Cohort mean was 49% and i was in front of #2 by 10%. I have seen some insane marks from other year 12's but not sure if my school just marks harder or something

The year 12 rote game is much harder than Prelim. Never found the need to rote in prelim business but i rote learned over 100 pages leading up to Business trial

I don't really, i simply assign the content to simple concepts and remember it from there. I also remember harder content through pun's, unlike business i don't see any reason to rote for IPT (though i may rote for the HSC exam) Try not to think of the subject on too much of an advanced...

nope. got over it a while ago though 2015 students beware. I know like 7 people in my grade alone that have lost a ton of HSC course notes in 2014 I made extensive notes on every dotpoint in Students Learn To from the Davis textbook. So if i can remember correctly ~20-35 pages per topic...

Cried for like 10 minutes and winged the trials. I still knew the course quite well due to that note taking and just spend the 2 days before my exam reading over the Samuel Davis textbook, my class notes and doing papers. I have never studied for IPT before that though and am sitting on rank...

Dear god for your own sake please back up your IPT notes. I made notes on every topic in the holidays before trials and my hard-drive corrupted. >22,000 words of notes notes over all 5 HSC topics just gone.
