    I don't think I ever mentioned internal mark o.o exactly your first statement: just remember your rank + your external mark determines what average is taken

    like it was said, your mark is 89 so your mark is averaged with x the reason I said it in two ways is because you can either think of it as 89 + x, divided by 2 or think of it as the average of 89 + x

    1st will get 98 the three 2nd places get 97 skip the marks that don't get used last ranked would get lowest mark I don't think the spread between internals really matter, it's just the gaps in the external marks

    Yes you do. You get your mark averaged with the mark that your rank corresponds with. However, that's not your 'mark' as scaling will take place
