I heard that paper 1 is eventually out of 40? not 45 somehow which sucks coz that's usually my better one lol. paper 2 is out of 60

yeah of course but there'll be other techniques too like alliteration, assonance, sometimes structure, connotations, satire, diction, tone etc Half the time I force techniques upon the material I've been given coz there's nothing haha. You can pretty much bs. Good luck and don't stress :)
