I would choose 3 unit maths over 3 unit English, if you are good at both. It has higher scaling, is more interesting, and takes less time (usually, but not always). It's also quick to do past papers. You just do them, and then finish, whereas with English there's all this fluff etc. Buut that's...

That was way harder than any of the CSSAs in previous years. The structure - I absolutely hated it and was thrown off by it immensely. What do you guys think would be the cut off for band 6 equivalent for this paper? I feel like it would be around ~50 but that's just what I think

You will need minimum like 88 raw and even better 90 raw. You still have plenty of time until hsc to perfect your answers. Mark them aswell and see if you have met the marking criteria. Chem marking criteria is not black and white. After doing several questions you'll get the jist :)
