Yeah in my low ranking school the only state rank was for a language course which had like 10 people statewide.

Anyone can get state rank for easy subjects for example standard 1 so it's not special that they would give money for it. It all depends on the subject you get state rank in.

Yeah exactly. In prelim physics, we never had to memorise the history of experiments. And circuits and vector addition was more demanding than all topics in hsc physics.

barring the trash module some of 7 and most of module 8. Year 11 physics has less rote learning and requires more mathematical thinking💀
