    The Official Hamlet/R&G help thread

hello ballerina ! guess who ? from what i've gathered from father superior, he wants us to have the director talking in depth with the actors about how to portray the characters... its so hard ! I wish I just had an essay about existential issues. That would be cake and pie. piece...

    No idea anti hero

I did this topic last year and as far as I could gather, an anti-hero was a more realistic hero - one with fatal flaws. We studied Bridget Jones Diary (Bridget is a typical woman many relate to) Catch-22 (Yossarian a cowardly man who does heroic acts unwillingly) and Othello (almost perfect man...

To all the Year10's of '05

I listened in class most of the time in years 7-10... But I decided the SC meant diddly-squat because I'd go for my HSC. So I didnt study at all in the lead up to the SC, and I got straight band 5s. Piece of proverbial cake. Maths was a bit disappointing though as I got a band 6 in the...

Class of 2005 - Which texts are you doing?

I had to sit through a v. long Hamlet movie, Kenneth Branner/Brenner (whatever his name is) directed and starred in it - he either spoke with a voice dripping with irony and disdain or yelled.

Pros & cons of modern history?

Modern is good if you're willing to get really into it. You basically just have to understand what happened & why and remember quotes and its smooth sailing. Source studying gets pretty annoying though, so if you dont like that stuff, you might want to avoid modern. * looks at subject...

Power of One vs The green mile

yeah, the Green Mile movie adaption captures the essence of it better than the Power of One does. So use POO book and TGM movie. hey I just realised I said poo. I feel kinda lame right about now... * wanders away quickly *

    Shot at UAI with 10u

I say stick with 4 u english if you like ext 2 so much. theres no point in losing your safety net and a subject you're good at just to drop a boring one. As you can see on my signature I have 2 different extensions as well as chemistry. All are scaled highly provided you get the marks.

Over 90 in the journey's section

No its a good topic because like hasterz said, it separates you from everyone else. Putting a lot of thought into these sort of topics is easy and theres so many themes you can go with. In short, quit your bitching ;)

    Alice in Wonderland URGNET!!!!!!!!!!

isnt that kind of what you have to do? You cant just take everyone elses ideas and stuff, but put your own thought into it. How do you think it relates to imaginative journeys? By the way, I love Castle Hill's shopping mall, best one ever.
