they do not count in any way marks-wise. The marks do not carry through. I was really dissapointed cause in yr11 i was coming first in like physics, math2U and math ext1 and the whole slate was wiped clean. But learning all the background stuff really well definately contributed to my good...

Loose leaf paper is best to put in a folder, cause if you miss a lecture or two you can copy the notes and put them in the right place. I read through what ive written, but mainly just the really important stuff. Its a good idea to write little hints or important things that the lecturer...

I have the same prob. im working at a place where almost everyone is older than me, and at lunch i usually just sit around and listen to everyone talking. Their interests just seem so different to mine that whatever input i have for the conversation would be totally irrelevant to them.
