    Mid year intake

Have you already applied? I'm not sure about your uai question, but the mid year admissions through UAC have closed...just letting you know in case you hadn't applied yet and were planning to, :(

    Bachelor of Creative Arts

Ahhhhhhhh.....sorry, I must have read the UAC guide wrong, I wasn't sure if when u graduated you actually got a BCA or a BA because some names of courses don't indicate the actual award that is given. :p

    Bachelor of Creative Arts

Thanks for that, sounds like an interesting course (even if I'm not very business minded!), there seem to be less creative arts courses at uni's in sydney than there are in say, melbourne, and maq is the only one (i think) that even does a BCA...which ends up being a straight BA i think?

    Bachelor of Creative Arts

Thanks for your replies, is there any type of practical component to the course at all? Or is it mainly about business stuff related to the arts? :p

    Bachelor of Creative Arts

Thanks...yeah, I've looked at most of those pages, the handbook was a tad confusing but I'll probably e-mail one of those people about it, thankyou!

    Bachelor of Creative Arts

Hey, I'm at usyd at the moment but I was thinking of applying for MQ mid year doing a BCA (drama). I went to MQ the other day and the woman at the enqiury desk was no help at all and made me climb 8 flights of stairs to find another office, which she failed to notice had been moved...to the 1st...

marked @ the mark centre or @ skool?

Well last year our works were marked at school....except for a few that had to be sent out because of their medium. We had to finish on the set date and then they were locked away until the markers came...:)

    missing tutorials

Also, some of the tutes have been cancelled...at least my English lectures/tutes have ben cancelled for this week because it was too difficult to slot everyone in the rest of the week. So just check that they haven't all been cancelled, although I'm sure that any big changes like that would have...

    missing uni

Not too sure since I only just started uni but maybe if talked to ur tutors/lecturers in advance...ask them what they think/what will be covered/if u can get any notes etc?
  10. eshi

    a quick question

Yeah...well that's what i assumed, that they don't start until next week. Although I have an Italian tutorial tomorrow (only class, Yay!) which will be on...i hope, since it says weeks 1-13, so just check...other than that...no tutes! (i don't think anyway:P)

    Shocked?

Personally, I'm quite happy for my High school friends not to attend the same uni as me (except that those that I would still like to go to uni with ARE going to the same one as me...just at different campuses! ) in terms of getting to know more people, having no-one there kinda...

Arts Network Transition & Mentoring Program?

Don't you just hate awkward silences? I mention this because there were quite a few during the group thing just after morning tea...even though I'm sure that everyone had more questions, no one would ask them...and I was counting on them to do it for me...not one for talking in front of a large...

Arts Network Transition & Mentoring Program?

Did you guys do the scavenger hunt thing? We didn't...we learnt how to use the computer system/where important stuff is located around uni...handy, if I remember it all that is

    French and German

That's what prevented me from taking French Beginners'. You can enter the course if you have done either no more than 2 years of French or HSC French with a result under 65%...OR if you are a complete beginner! I would love to do French but I think I will end up doing a course through TAFE...

any point in staying/coming back for hsc results?

I don't think so, I mean unless you are a particularly inquisitive person who wouldn't be able to stop from bugging all ur friends for their results :) I mean you'll get ur results and uni offers no matter where you are, you just have to get on the net. I say just go on ur holiday...I mean...
