Linux computers in CSE labs
It's actually a snapshot of Debian GNU/Linux testing branch (3.0 and codenamed "Sarge"). http://cgi.cse.unsw.edu.au/~csg/news/?issue=0023 And for those who mentioned "2.4.24", that's referring to the kernel version and not the version of Debian!
