    Interview for medicine

Everything depends on how you talk about your experience to interviewers. Different if you are applying overseas medicine...

    advice about B Dentistry

I'm not thinking about grad med/dent anymore because I'm in... And I did adv. science in Usyd... and I find my degree quite helpful in preparing GAMSAT (science part, of course).. In terms of GAMSAT, It's not the matter of the degree... it's the matter of subjects you choose and some...

    advice about B Dentistry

"B arts is as useless as B med sci....." i.e. All degrees have their own values... and no exemption exits in Usyd Dent....it's a 4 year program.. The degrees which help you to achieve "assumed knowledge" for GAMSAT: every degree... even art... (provided that you can do science subjects...

    advice about B Dentistry

:) Not really... many med sci people still go to the preparation course (one course, I wouldn't name, costs about $1000) for GAMSAT... So I think it is a hype that b. med sci is 'the best' degree to 'prepare' GAMSAT or get into med/dent... However it is good that b. med sci covers various...

    Med or Dent

If you really want to be a maxillofacial surgeon, you have to do BOTH.... otherwise you won't be able to get residency training...
  13. C

    adv sciences.. r they hard??

Adv. Sci is not that hard, since in fact, you don't have to do any advanced subjects in 1st year at all. Advanced maths subjects are scaled up pretty heaps, but not Bio and Chem. Don't know about physics, but I've heard it's scaled up as well..
  14. C

    advice about B Dentistry

B Med Sci is not 'the best' pre-degree to get into Usyd dent, since not many people have been actually into dent from Usyd B. Med Sci..

    stupid question abt. dentistry

If transferring to USYD was easy, everyone would do it in that way..... Transferring to USYD, from my knowledge, is impossible. BUT, I think if you do dentistry in other university, you may get an exemption if you got into USYD. Therefore you have to go through GAMSAT, interview etc......

    stupid question abt. dentistry
