Hey everyone, this is my first post, and im hoping it wont be the last.

I have 12 units at the moment, and im not to sure should I keep it for year 12.

Is it a good idea to drop a subject?

if i drop and have 10 units, i might fall back on one and go bad in HSC,

but

if i keep 12, i have room to fall back, but i have to concentrate all time on that xtra subject.

any advice will be most appreciated.

thanks pplz

go for 12
10 may mean free time for "study" but it may also mean more bludging

at least with 12 u always get fed with a "healthy workload"

it depends on how confident you are in your best ten units really. Its always advised being safe with 12 but its up to u.

10 if u know how to concentrate ur chi into one intense laser beam. otherwise if u cant do that, 12. :D

i recommend 10. if u bludge ur free time thats ur fault. but if u use the time to study, its like a +++
also, doing 12, u got that state of mind where u think u have room to stuff up. if u think like that, ull prolly stuff up beyond ur 2 unit buffer

i'm going to do 12..its best.. i dont see a point in doing 11 *sorry tenille* esp if its like a 1 unit subject like religion *shudders*
eehehe but yeah 10 is a bit risky.. but if youre really confident in those subjects then i think its the best option..

keep 12. it's a LOt less stressful if u find that u are not doing as well as u hoped in a subject!

I did 13, now i'm also in the shitter because I do 14.

Although failing 2-3 subjects isn't too bad for me, because they won't be included anyway.

As babydoll has said, time management is critical!
know how to manage your schedule,
read ahead (always read ahead)
and expect, the unexpected (*cue spooky music*)

Yeah, but I'm not in Year 11.
I did 13 in Year 11.
14 in Year 12 (presently).

4 Eng, 4 Math, 2 Phy, 2 Chem, 2 IPT, 1 SOR.

Aiming for 95+ (minimum for Med)
And of course, hoping to 'pass' UMAT (in comparison to others)

Realistically,
94-95, bare minimum 90+
"Possibly" 96-97, but we will have to wait and see, I would be aiming for 98.05 (Optometry) but I'm just glad to be over the 90 mark.

I would be stoked with 96.00 though, (69 doesn't sound too bad LOL ;))
