On the radio, she said she was called on Friday. The award ceremony is today at the Conservatorium of Music.

That's a pretty bloody incredible achievement for Ashley. And for Killara High as well, considering it's the first year that they've ever taught Aboriginal Studies.

I am proud of my ex-school :)

So Ashley Steele got VA and Aboriginal Studies
Sara Dawood got Arabic Continuers and Extension
Katherine Wangmann got Classical Greek Continuers and Extension
Lara Johnson Italian Continuers and Extension
Martin Seneviratne Latin Continuers and Extension
Katerina Pavlidis Modern Greek Continuers and Extension
Esther Choi English as a Second Language and Japanese beginners

Ashley Steele and Esther Choi are the most impressive because they had to get their heads across two subjects.
